Temple of Artemis - Artemision

The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, also known as the Artemision , was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It was a grand temple dedicated to the Greek goddess Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, fertility, and childbirth. The temple was located in the ancient city of Ephesus , which is now modern-day Turkey . The construction of the temple began in the 6th century BC , during the reign of King Croesus of Lydia. It was designed by the Greek architect Chersiphron and his son Metagenes . The temple was built on a marshy plain near the river Cayster, and it was raised on a platform to prevent flooding. The temple was made of marble and was adorned with sculptures and decorations. The temple was destroyed and rebuilt several times throughout history. Knicks vs Heat Playoffs

The New York Knicks and the Miami Heat are tied at 1-1 as they clash at the Kaseya Center for the first time in the second round of the 2023 NBA playoffs. 

The Knicks won a crucial Game 2 on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden to level the series after the Heat won the opener. In Game 2, both teams missed their star players, with Jimmy Butler out with an ankle sprain, while Julius Randle returned to the Knicks lineup after missing Game 1 due to the same injury. 

Butler is expected to return in Game 3. Meanwhile, Randle struggled in Game 2 and had another bad night in Game 3, finishing with only 10 points on 4-of-15 shooting from the field and 0-for-5 from 3-point range. 

Randle, however, downplayed the role his ankle played in his struggles. Immanuel Quickley suffered a sprained ankle in Game 3 and is uncertain for Game 4, while Jalen Brunson may have tweaked his ankle during the game. 


The Knicks now face a 2-1 series deficit, with Tom Thibodeau admitting that they didn't play the way they wanted to in Game 3.
